The Sleep Research programme at Cardiff University’s Brain Research Imaging Centre (CUBRIC) investigates the role of sleep in memory, learning, emotion, and cognitive health. Research interests include sleep-dependent memory consolidation, targeted memory reactivation, sleep engineering, EEG, neuroimaging, and the effects of sleep on brain function and ageing. Through laboratory and translational research, the group contributes to understanding how sleep influences cognition and wellbeing while developing innovative approaches to enhance the benefits of sleep.
